We are Germany’s largest independent liquid bulk terminal located at the only German deep-water port. Our state-of-the-art infrastructure has spacious deep-water berths and facilities that enable the storage and handling of a wide range of liquid bulk products. Our flexible and safe infrastructure enables extensive sea, road and rail transport. Our terminal offers excellent connections to the most important European refineries and chemical industries, as well as to some of the most important consumer areas in Germany.

WE PURSUE SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

We are pursuing sustainable growth, with a strong focus on opportunities in the energy transition such as hydrogen, CO₂ and clean fuels. Our terminal has an ambition to play a central role in Northern Germany’s energy transition. The terminal is very well positioned to do so, with ample land available for development, and extensive jetty and rail capacity. Collaboration will be key, if we are to be successful in making a meaningful contribution to the region’s decarbonization goals, in line with the European Green Deal.

‘I work in the oil accounting and customer service department. As HES Wilhelmshaven tank terminal is part of an international group of companies I got the chance to participate in a Young Talent Program. My personal goal in this program is to build more self-confidence and develop more so-called “soft leadership skills”, this will have a positive impact on my career. It also helps to getting to know more colleagues from the other terminals and thus have a better overview of what is happening within HES International as a group. This already is a great experience: all nice and open people, a beautiful environment and a lot to learn.’
