After my graduation internship (2011) at EMO with the subject “optimizing planning schedules with simulation”, at TU Delft, I was immediately offered a job as a production engineer. After 5 years I got the opportunity to work as Operations Manager for EBS. I have been doing that with great pleasure for 4 years now, in a fantastic, dynamic environment with great people!

At the age of 17 I started at EMO as a trainee in port operations, an MBO level 2 training from the STC. Both Emo and myself were very happy with the collaboration and I was given the opportunity to also pass levels 3 and 4 at EMO. My future? Ultimately, I want to work on that beautiful unloading bridge.

I started at HES as HSSE Officer in June 2020. I am mainly focused on reporting, processes and the digitization thereof. I already had experience in business processes and IT, but still knew little about HSSE. Fortunately, my colleagues were willing to explain everything I needed to know. The combination of the freedom and responsibility to carry out projects myself, in combination with the support from my colleagues, is a great experience. I also like that I was given the opportunity to further develop myself by following a master's degree. After my bachelor in computer science and economics, I am now following a master in ICT in Business & the public sector.
